Non-Laser Skin Treatments

Our procedures

Microdermabrasion

Your skin can be softer, smoother & more youthful looking. If you are unhappy with age spots, acne scars, fine wrinkles, or flaking skin, our specialized Microdermabrasion skin treatment program can provide immediate visual improvement.

This unique approach removes dead and flaking skin cells and stimulates the production of fresh, young skin cells and collagen. It is the ultimate advancement in non-invasive, non-surgical skin conditioning.

Aesthetic Laser Center Microdermabrasion treatments utilize both microdermabrasion techniques with Ultrasound. This means that we’re able to provide individualized, effective treatments that are safe for all skin types. While most microdermabrasion treatments leave client's skin with a mild sun-burn sensation and slight redness, we use Ultrasound to calm and soothe the epidermis. You’ll leave with refreshed skin!

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What is Microdermabrasion?
A: Microdermabrasion is a progressive, non-invasive treatment that removes the top layer of the skin – dead skin cells. Removing this outer layer of dead skin cells relieves congestion in the skin and reduces pore size, while drawing out blackheads and whiteheads.

This treatment creates a smoother texture and promotes the growth of healthy new cells. The process also promotes the production of new cells in the deepest layer of the dermis. It cleans pores and aids in balancing natural oil production, while stimulating collagen production to further balance out skin texture and tone.

Q: How does the treatment work?
A:
Microdermabrasion generally works in two ways. It first works by gently exfoliating or removing the outside layers (stratum corneum) of the skin. The abrasive action of the wand gently removes the outer surface layers, allowing smoother, fresher skin to be uncovered.
Then a vacuum-like process helps to stimulate microcirculation and lymphatic flow, increasing the blood supply that provides essential nutrients needed for skin regeneration. This helps accelerate the skin repair process and stimulates the formation of new collagen and elastin, thereby improving skin texture and elasticity.

Microneedling

Microneedling is also known as collagen induction therapy.  It is a minimally-invasive, cosmetic procedure that involves repeatedly puncturing a client’s skin with tiny, sterile needles.  This technique has been used as an effective treatment for numerous skin problems such as scarring and acne-related issues and can help in rejuvenating the skin.  It boosts the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin.  These two proteins work to maintain youthful, radiant skin.

The devices can control the depth of penetration anywhere from .5 mm down to .35 mm in increments of .1 mm with precision and by .25 mm or .5 mm on others depending on the type of motor.  The procedure does not include harsh chemicals and your skin heals quickly with almost no downtime.

Microneedling can:

  • Reduce fine lines
  • Reduce wrinkles
  • Minimize scars
  • Minimize stretch marks
  • Reduce irregular pigmentation
  • Improve sun-damaged skin
  • Rejuvenate skin areas where hair loss has occurred

Microcurrent

A microcurrent electrical neuromuscular stimulator (MENS) is a device which sends gentle electrical currents into the body for the purpose of rejuvenating aging skin.   It is a tool that is used to enhance the body’s natural skin chemicals at a cellular level to combat the effects of aging.  It provides firming and toning benefits that are improved with consecutive treatments.
Some studies have shown that after 20 consecutive microcurrent treatments, collagen and elastin production was increased and blood circulation was noticeably improved.  Research has found that microcurrent treatments triggered the body’s production of amino acids and Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) which accelerated cell repair and promoted healthier cell production.

Microcurrents can:
  • Improve muscle tone in the face and neck
  • Lift jowls and eyebrows
  • Reduce and eliminate fine lines and aid in wrinkle reduction
  • Improve circulation in the facial and neck skin areas
  • Aid in improving drainage through the lymphatic system
  • Enhance the ability of absorption of skin lotions

Botox & fillers

Aesthetic Laser Center is pleased to announce a partnership with doctors and nurses that are highly trained with cosmetic fillers, which allows us to extend full Botox ® services to our valued customers

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What is BOTOX ® treatment?
A: A Botox ® treatment is a simple, nonsurgical procedure that smoothes the deep, persistent lines between your brows that develop over time. One 10-minute treatment — a few tiny injections — relaxes the muscles that cause those lines to form and keeps them relaxed up to 4 months. The results are dramatic and apparent within days.

Q: Who should administer BOTOX ® treatment?
A: Any authorized health care professional can administer BOTOX ®; however, plastic surgeons, dermatologists, otolaryngologists, or other cosmetic physicians are generally more experienced-for this reason, we’ve partnered exclusively with Kristen Harris, N.P.

Q: Are BOTOX ® treatments painful?
A: Discomfort is minimal and brief. Your health care professional may choose to use a local anesthetic cream or ice to minimize this. Once the injection is complete, there is usually no discomfort.
